Everything moves too fast nowadays.
You post something, people see it for a second, scroll, and it’s gone.
When I was in NY, I shot some cars I came across while walking around the city. Nothing planned, just stuff I saw on the streets. When I got the rolls developed, I really loved these photographs. But then I started thinking about what would happen if I posted them online. People would see them once, maybe twice, and then forget about them.
Everything is made to scroll and forget.
So I wanted to do something different. I decided to make these photographs physical. Make five 1-of-1 T-shirts, each one hand-signed by me.
Something you can keep.
Something you can hang on your wall, wear on the street, or just have around.
Because once a photograph leaves the screen, it becomes something else. It can live with you, get worn, get dirty, move from one person to another. And maybe, through that, these images can reach people beyond their phone screen.

Hoy todo pasa demasiado rápido.
Publicas algo, la gente lo ve un segundo, hace scroll y desaparece.
Cuando estuve en NY, fui fotografiando algunos coches que me iba encontrando mientras paseaba por la ciudad. Nada planeado, simplemente cosas que me encontraba por la calle. Cuando revelé los carretes, me gustaron muchísimo estas fotografías. Pero entonces empecé a pensar qué pasaría si las publicaba online. La gente las vería una vez, quizás dos, y después se olvidaría de ellas.
Todo está hecho para hacer scroll y olvidar.
Así que quise hacer algo diferente. Decidí hacer estas fotografías físicas, cinco camisetas 1 de 1, cada una firmada a mano por mí.
Algo que puedas guardar.
Colgar en tu pared, ponerte por la calle o simplemente tenerlo por ahí.
Porque cuando una fotografía sale de la pantalla, se convierte en otra cosa. Puede vivir contigo, desgastarse, ensuciarse, pasar de una persona a otra. Y quizás así estas imágenes puedan llegar a gente más allá de la pantalla de su teléfono.
